Starting mental health therapy can feel intimidating, but I’m glad you’ve decided to consider taking this first step in seeking support. My goal for sessions is for clients to feel comfortable, safe, and supported - both as people and in pursuit of their therapeutic goals. While I do my best to tailor therapy sessions to each individuals' preferences, my hope is that over time we can work together to practice implementing self-compassion as you work to navigate all the various seasons of life. While maintaining work in private practice, I've also had previous experiences in a variety of outpatient clinics as a medical social worker as well as in the nonprofit sector providing grief support for families. My areas of clinical interest range from helping those who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, processing grief & navigating loss, and adjusting to new or stressful life circumstances. I believe one of the most important aspects of "successful" or helpful therapy includes finding a clinician that feels like a good fit for you and your goals - so please reach out if you have any questions or want to get a better sense of how we might work together! I'm happy to offer free 15-minute phone or video consultations for all prospective clients.
