Introduction

Hello, I am so happy that you have found your way to my practice! I would love to listen to your story and help you put together the pieces that will ultimately help you to get back on track. Many of my clients are seeking help dealing with feelings of depression, anger or anxiety. Others are seeking help with difficult life transitions or managing negative emotions. I can help. Relationship Problems? I can assist with the issues surrounding pre-marital partnership, marriage, and the aftermath of divorce. For some, learning to express and receive anger in a healthy manner, adopting healthier boundaries and utilizing "fair-fighting rules" transforms their relationships. I can help you address your issues around boundary setting, codependence (taking care of others to your own detriment), developing boundaries or lack of assertiveness you may have. Do you have toxic parents or family members? Are you feeling estranged from, or scapegoated by them? Perhaps you are suffering the sad, negative and painful aftermath of a loved one's succession. I know from personal experience the power of adopting positive, empowered solutions in these situations. If you are feeling hopeless or isolated and/or battling issues alone, please reach out! **My Background: I have had the privilege of working as a therapist in hospitals, mental health outpatient centers, nursing homes, with FEMA as a staff counselor and at US military bases. I have loved living in the friendly, tolerant and culturally rich city of Austin, TX for over 25 years, following a move from Louisiana. I enjoy exploring our beautiful Texas hill country, hiking and being a life-long learner. *To book a free 15 minute consultation, please click below.
