I provide psychotherapy in three main practice areas: 1. Reproductive Emotional Health: Support for mothers and fathers experiencing pregnancy/postpartum anxiety or depression. Parents grieving a miscarriage or infant loss. Women undergoing medical procedures such as infertility treatments, breast-cancer treatments or menopause treatments. 2. Teens and Young Adults: high achievement anxiety in academics, athletics and theater, adjustment to college. 3. Parent-Child Relationships at all ages: Improving emotional connection and communication between mothers/daughter, fathers/sons. Loss of a parent in childhood or adulthood. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities through both In-Person sessions and Telehealth video sessions. I have training in Mothercentric Approaches applying Internal Family Systems Theory in perinatal mental health. I have certification in Components of Care Training from Postpartum Support International using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. I have training in Infant Mental Health using Attachment Theory to enhance early childhood development. I am nationally rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy incorporating a blend of Attachment Theory, Trauma Theory and Development Theory through Play Therapy techniques. I have studied child-birth practices and Matrescence in both the American Southwest and in the Peruvian Andes.
