I believe lasting change occurs through positive human connection which is why I strive to create a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment that encourages the development of an authentic and trusting relationship between myself and my clients, no matter their age, presenting challenge, or what point they are at in their mental health journey. My therapeutic approach is relational, holistic, and identity affirming; it’s rooted in the idea that you are the expert on your life and that my role is to support you in discovering, honoring, and embracing that. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on the Welfare of Children and Families from the University of Michigan. I have training in Infant Mental Health and Perinatal Mental Health as well as experience working with clients on processing grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, perinatal mood disorders, and various life transitions. In my practice, I focus on supporting young children, women, parents, and pregnant or postpartum individuals. I practice from a collaborative perspective to empower clients to use their voice and ensure their goals remain at the forefront of their sessions. When working with children and families, I use a collection of play therapy techniques to help foster supportive attachment relationships and promote healing and communication through play.
