I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Supervisor who has worked in the mental health field for over a decade. I have a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), extensive training in Adolescent-Focused Therapy (AFT) and Family Based Therapy (FBT) and is current working towards a certification in eating disorders from the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults at various settings including residential care, hospice, school-based, home-based, and outpatient. I use evidence-based practice to treat anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image, and self-esteem disturbances. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and a committee member for the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED). I earned my Master’s of Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University where I focused on children, youth and families.
