Amanda is a dedicated P-LPC, set to receive full licensure in April 2025. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University, graduating in 2010, and spent several years teaching before transitioning into various public service roles. After living abroad, and obtaining her first masters from Wesley Biblical Seminary, Amanda reignited her passion for helping others through counseling. She earned her Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from Mississippi College in 2022. With nearly two years of experience in the addiction field, Amanda has gained invaluable insights. Now, she is embarking on a new journey in private practice, aiming to support individuals during transformative, cycle-breaking seasons. Amanda believes in the power within each person to change their lives, emphasizing the importance of discovering a healthy inner voice. Amanda enjoys working with clients on breaking cycles of shame and guilt, helping individuals discover their true selves, treating anxiety and fear, navigating life transitions, and provides support for young adults, millennials, and couples. Her experiences extends to parental and postpartum counseling, as well as addiction counseling. With a compassionate approach, Amanda empowers clients to overcome their challenges and achieve personal growth. Amanda is currently providing services for clients 15 and older and is accepting self-pay and Medicaid clients.
