Introduction

Do you have trouble showing up as your authentic self? Do you feel unable to deal with daily life? Have you struggled to move through life transitions? This can be very painful and isolating. Unfortunately, when we are in pain we learn to hide our true selves or change ourselves to make others happy. When we live inauthentically it can lead to depression, anxiety, stress, sleep issues, and other mental health concerns. I offer therapy from the lens of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We will identify your values and discuss strategies for living a life that is true to you. Along the way we will practice self-compassion and skills to use when life becomes overwhelming. Individuals who complete therapy with me often come out feeling strong in their identity and able to take on life’s challenges. My job is to provide a calm, warm, and nonjudgmental environment for you to learn more about yourself. I’ve worked with individuals as they navigate their sexual orientation, gender identity, depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief and loss. My passion is helping individuals realize their strengths and gifts. You are not broken or wrong. Let’s work together to get unstuck and start living a meaningful life! Call 913-214-2428 to schedule a 15 minute free consultation or request a consultation online. I look forward to working together!
