Thank you for taking the time to visit me. I hope you find me to be a good fit to help you with your life journey. I believe the therapy process works, but you have to be willing to do the work and make the changes necessary. I am truly convinced change doesn't happen, unless change happens. This is the place to get it all out- the good, the bad and the ugly. We talk about it in here! I will accept you for you, no judgement here. Let's get real and talk about it. I am patient and kind. I will validate and empathize with you. I will probably challenge you and help you think in new and different ways. My space will hopefully be a calm, relaxing place for you to work through life challenges and find a balanced life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 27 years experience working with individuals and families. My work experiences include trauma, chemical dependency, mental health, mood disorder, family violence, and conflict resolution. I have specialized in medical social work helping individuals and families cope with end of life care and decision making, chronic illness, multiple offenders, defiant disorders, caregiver stress and grief. I am a certified Stress Life Coach, as well as a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, National Association of Social Workers, member of EMDRIA-EMDR International Association, a Fully Trained EMDR Therapist and a Texas DWI Intervention administrator/instructor. I provide Board Approved Clinical Supervision to those wishing to complete their LCSW requirements. I have experience working as a grout therapist, specializing in individuals, parents, children, teenagers and families. I enjoy working in my yard, growing and propagating succulents with friends and making sea shell and drift wood art. I love hunting and spending time outdoors. My snuggle buddies are my munchkin cats. I love the sunshine and spending time with my family.
