I have been working within this area of interest professionally since 2010, with personal experiences of having a blended family since 2005. Treatment often includes both individual and family counseling with a focus on grief following a divorce, strengthening and healing biological family relationships, and understanding and encouraging the process of blending that often takes place through remarriage and other life transitions, such as new siblings, moving, etc. Blended families can be created in other ways as well, including foster care, adoption, grandparents raising grandchildren and many more. I offer various techniques and strategies through the therapeutic process such as psychotherapy, psychoeducation, art therapy, and play techniques to help clients and their families feel heard, supported, and encouraged. I received my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Northeastern State University. I worked as an elementary school counselor for 5 years and provided individual and group counseling, as well as, classroom and school-wide guidance for social, emotional, and behavioral issues. Since that time, I received my professional licensure and have been providing professional counseling services, in agency, private practice, and inpatient hospital settings. I am a current member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and provide court-appointed reconciliation therapy, as well as, therapeutic visitation. Faith-based counseling is also available upon request. I look forward to working with you and your family! Jamie Tyler LPC-S An ideal client has specific goals or problems in mind they want to work on. I love helping others make their lives happier and healthier! I love helping parents work on difficult situations with their children, couples work on strengthening their relationships, and children/teens work to realize their potential. I am available for counseling in Broken Arrow at Anchor of Hope. Also for home visits on a case-by-case basis depending on location and situation. Let's discuss! I have had over 10 years of experience in many different settings from outpatient clinics, to in-school therapy, to inpatient/crisis work. I'm flexible, non-judgmental, and willing to meet clients where they are and work together to meet their goals. I understand each person has a unique story that makes them who they are. I'd love to talk with you to see if we would be a good fit with each other. Therapists and clients have to feel the match is right both ways! Glen Carver LPC, PhD Our journey in life can be difficult and at times filled with pain, loss, grief, struggle and full of questions. My passion is to journey alongside you, helping you make sense of what is happening and continue moving on your path finding respite, hope and support along the way. Whether it be due to trauma, depression, anxiety, divorce or marital issues I will be glad to listen to who you are and what makes your journey unique and help you find the path toward wholeness and healing. I have walked with others on their journeys for over 25 years working with those who have been the victims of sexual abuse, trauma, mental illness, and grief and loss. I have years of experience working with marriage, divorce, and relationship issues. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to explore how their spiritual life impacts their journey and healing and am open to incorporating that in our therapy sessions as you desire. I offer in person counseling in Broken Arrow at Anchor of Hope. I do also offer virtual and some evening appointments in person or virtual. Melana Ivie LPC Feeling exhausted or not good enough? Possibly feeling alone in your struggles? It happens to the best of us. Sometimes we just wish things were different and we can't figure out how to make it happen; or we know exactly what to do, but we can't seem to get out of bed or off the couch. Maybe your mind is running constantly, draining your energy. After struggling for so long it's so exhausting and likely affects your work, relationships, and your children. There has to be a better way where you can wake up looking forward to the day, or when you don't have to force a smile and pretend everything is okay. Therapy can be that next step you need. I'm available for in person counseling in Broken Arrow at Anchor of Hope. I do also offer a virtual option. I can't wait to meet you and start your journey.
