She specializes in working with adults experiencing a wide range of issues including grief and end-of-life issues, complex trauma, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, minority stress, and complex/life-limiting medical diagnoses. Amanda uses a blend of treatment approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic approaches (Ego-State and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal/Somatic techniques to support clients in healing from trauma experiences. She enjoys working with gender-expansive, neurodivergent, and postpartum clients, particularly those with complex trauma histories. Amanda's therapeutic perspective is that you innately process the skills, resources, and capabilities to heal from your experiences and that you are already in the process. Her hope is that your therapeutic relationship will allow you to be compassionately and non-judgmentally joined and supported throughout your healing process.
