Introduction

With nearly 20 years of experience assisting individuals in overcoming life's challenges, I have had the privilege of collaborating with children, adults, and families at various stages of their lives. My approach is rooted in compassion and is solution-focused, driven by an unwavering passion for guiding people through real-world struggles. I believe in providing practical and realistic solutions that promote growth, clarity, and resilience, ensuring that those I work with can navigate their challenges effectively. Whether you are dealing with significant life transitions, managing stress, or facing emotional obstacles, I am dedicated to helping you achieve balance and move forward with confidence and assurance. I earned my Master of Social Work from the esteemed University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, which laid the foundation for my diverse career. Throughout my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience working in a variety of settings, including home-based, school-based, and outpatient environments, as well as pediatric multi-specialty clinics. This broad spectrum of experience has allowed me to support individuals of all ages, with a particular focus on young children, preteens, teens, young adults, and their parents. I find immense fulfillment in working with adults as well, helping them navigate the complexities of life with empathy and understanding. Beyond my professional life, I am a devoted wife and mother of four wonderful children who keep me on my toes with their active involvement in performing arts and athletics. My personal life is enriched by a creative and adventurous spirit. In my free time, I indulge in crafting and crocheting, finding joy in creating something beautiful with my hands. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I am always dreaming of my next adventure, eager to explore new places and cultures. These pursuits not only rejuvenate my spirit but also offer me fresh perspectives and inspiration that I bring into my work, enhancing my ability to connect with and support those I serve. -Amanda Dunn, LCSW-S
