Navigating our day-to-day lives can feel difficult due to a multitude of reasons, and may feel even more overwhelming to children attempting to learn how they fit in and relate to others around them. In my role as a therapist, I will help your child explore their identity, become more comfortable interacting with their environment and help to make sense of their experiences and connections with others. I believe it’s most important to first create a secure and meaningful relationship with my clients, hence promoting a safe place for exploration, inquiry, and expression including in the face of obstacles. You are the expert on your child. Thats why it’s important for me as your child’s therapist to not only work with them but also you as their parent. Through one-on-one therapy with your child, I create a safe space to help them navigate their world. I help them build on their individual strengths to solve problems confidently and manage their emotions. I use evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to equip your child with tools that will help them long after therapy ends.
