Introduction

Hello! I am Amanda Casius and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in adolescents and adults. I work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and transition issues. I have been a counselor for 20 years and have enjoyed working with my clients in a variety of different settings. My job as a counselor is to assist my clients in reaching their goals. I want my clients to be in control of their life versus their symptoms and struggles being in control of them. I believe we can all reach our goals and live a fulfilled life, we just need a helping hand to clear the path and see our way a bit better. I am a native of this area and grew up in Rockingham County. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors degree in Human Services. Go Hokies! I obtained my Masters degree from Villanova University in Community Counseling. My husband and I lived in New Jersey before moving back to the valley over 10 years ago. We are proud to be back and to be raising our family in this beautiful area. Over the years I have practiced in a variety of settings. I have worked as an in-home clinician, in a Partial Hospitalization Program, and as an outpatient therapist in a community agency. I have been practicing within my own practice for eight years now. I look forward to helping you reach your goals. You CAN have a more fulfilling life, and a life filled with peace and joy! Please reach out today! I look forward to meeting you!
