If you’re struggling to cope with the curveballs that life can sometimes throw at us, I can help you navigate through the feelings that may come up and offer coping skills and strategies to find your path forward. I have worked with clients on navigating trauma, military life, depression, anxiety, family issues, and major life adjustments. As a strengths based therapist I will support you in identifying what works for you, and help you to build on the strengths you have, to overcome the struggles that you may be facing. In therapy, I also utilize trauma informed and culturally sensitive practices, attachment theory, family systems, CBT and DBT in order to tailor my approach to fit your needs. Growing up, I did not know that supports were available and was often trying to navigate life on my own. As I have worked in many different settings; hospitals, school systems, non-profits, community mental health, and now private practice, I have worked to fill the gaps in mental health support and reduce the stigma of what it means to ask for help.
