Introduction

Hi, I'm Amanda. Here’s a little about me. I take a relational approach to therapy. The relationship or ‘vibe’ you have with your therapist is the foundation of all the work. I aim to strike a balance of supportive reflection and insight with practical strategies for growth. We utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with EMDR. Attachment theory, polyvagal theory, and neuroplasticity inform my approach. I work with tweens, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment to life changes. I’ve been a practicing social worker since 2010. I have a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Maryland.
