Introduction

I launched Family Restoration Counseling over 14 years as a solo therapist with the idea of providing high-quality, customized counseling that was easily accessible to clients who just needed the time and space to work through life's difficult problems. Prior to my career in private practice, I spent 6 years working in the public mental health sector in a variety of settings including schools, residential facilities, and community mental health centers. While gaining a tremendous amount of education and professional knowledge, I also saw the limitations of how mental health was provided for most families. As FRCS grew into a thriving group practice, my goal was to continue offering specialized mental health services in a non-clinical, warm and inviting setting. As my practice continues to evolve, I have returned to my solo practice roots and provide coaching and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Though I utilize a multitude of clinical interventions, my philosophy is simple. I offer my clients a safe, reflective space to collaborate with me to identify, process, and work through life's complicated hurdles. I help motivate and inspire my client's to build on their owns strength' while confronting them with areas that need more skills and attention. I work with clients of all ages and abilities from toddlers to geriatrics. Areas of interest and specialty include working with caregivers, children and teens, women's issues such as postpartum depression/anxiety and stress management, and ADJD *and other neurodevelopmental disorders). I pride myself on creating meaningful relationships with my clients that last for years. Most of my people choose to continue with services with me throughout the years because of investing their time and trust into me and the therapeutic process. Though one life problem may bring a client to seek counseling, most clients find it helpful to continue strong mental health through maintenance and preventative sessions as needed.
