Introduction

Hi there! My name is Alyssa and my clinical practice focuses on providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and challenging life situations and transitions. I use primarily cognitive-behavioral as well as mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies to help you achieve your goals. My job as your therapist is to work myself out of a job - to get you to a place where you can be self-sufficient and have all the tools needed to maintain the progress you've made in therapy! I work collaboratively with you to identify your goals for therapy and believe that you are the expert on your life. My role is to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, allowing you the space to identify, explore, and challenge troublesome patterns that impact your overall well-being. Deciding to make any kind of change is no easy task, and the fact that you are here on this page seeking support speaks volumes in itself (seriously!) I welcome you to reach out anytime to see if I'm a good fit for you.
