Therapy is an opportunity for you to gain insight, find hope, and make lasting change. I am committed to working collaboratively with you to develop increased awareness around your unique experiences and emotions and process what may be contributing to you feeling distressed, alone or in conflict. I believe the therapeutic relationship is key. As your therapist, I’ll create a safe space for you to explore your vulnerabilities while providing feedback to help you make meaning of your patterns and struggles. I’ll be there to support and challenge you as you strive to live your most authentic life. I have significant experience with people who struggle with feeling connected, people pleasing and perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I have received advanced training in trauma work, and bring this perspective into working with individuals who have experiences of significant life stressors and unmet emotional needs. I am a licensed clinical social worker with diverse experience working with adults, couples, and families. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my Master’s in Social Work from New York University. I’ve been a psychotherapist my whole career, working in non-profit and private practice settings.
