Introduction

In the face of life's hardships, it's normal to feel frozen sometimes, unsure of where to even begin to heal. Big emotions like grief or anxiety flare up in the wake of loss, unexpected life events, or simply build up over time. We might find ourselves stuck in patterns or beliefs that are no longer serving us. It can be daunting to dig in at first, but you can find your equilibrium again. Together, we will work on strategies that help you contain pain and make space for joy. You can find a path through your stuck points and live a life more in line with your chosen values and goals. The core values of my work are paired together in the name of my practice. My approach is compassionate, warm, gentle, and accepting. I specialize in grief, loss, trauma, and anxiety. I understand the brain fog that comes with these experiences. I collaborate with you, helping you connect to your inner wisdom, which has been there all along, sometimes you simply need help sorting through complex emotions and prioritizing where to begin. We can work toward simple, tangible, and sustainable change. I work from a trauma informed lens and system perspective, which considers the impact of your relationships, experiences, and life circumstances on your feelings and behaviors. I draw on tools from mindfulness and CBT to help you heal and thrive, but on the whole I consider my approach to be eclectic, tailoring it to your needs and preferences. I know it can be intimidating to reach out for help, but it is so worth it. Please send me an email, text, or call to set up a free 15 minute consultation, which we can virtually or over the phone.
