Introduction

My name is Allison Jensen, I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland. I have worked in the field for approximately 10 years, in a variety of settings. My approach to therapy is a dynamic and individualized approach based upon my client's presenting needs and comfort level. I utilize a variety of therapeutic skills to help address your needs! There are no smoke and mirror tricks in therapy, instead, my philosophy is to create a collaborative relationship to allow for long-lasting and sustainable success to your life and overall wellbeing! Sometimes we can't always control the life events that we are forced to deal with, but we CAN gain control of our lives, learn and grow from those experiences in order to come out the other side stronger, well-adjusted, and insightful individuals. And it is my goal to facilitate that growth in a safe and empowering environment.
