Allison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field of psychotherapy for over a decade. After graduating from New York University where she specialized in school based social work within urban communities, she went on to serving children and families in both non-profit agencies as well as education. Allison opened her private practice in 2018 and specializes working with teens, young adults, couples, and families struggling with mood disorders, relationships, and life transitions. Allison's areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma and grief/loss. With an approach guided by mindfulness and attachment based principles, her focus is strength-based, with an emphasis on acceptance and self compassion.
