Ph. D. Dr. Allison & Associates
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Parenting

Introduction

Dr. Allison Kanter Agliata is passionate about working with individuals, teams, families, and organizations to improve their emotional intelligence, strengthen their relationships, and develop a positive, well-balanced outlook on work and life. After beginning her career as a military psychologist in the Air Force and then serving as an administrator in the field of education for twelve years, Dr. A found her passion and strengths in helping people connect, communicate, and collaborate in a way that inspired them to be their best personally and professionally. Due to her self-professed obsession with interpersonal dynamics, Dr. A has the unique ability to give perspective and guidance on how to effectively address conflict, improve connections, and increase effectiveness, productivity, and morale. She thrives on finding innovative ways to turn problems into opportunities through a combination of keen intuition and evidence-based practices. Her goal is to meet people where they are and then push them slightly outside their comfort zone to promote growth and overall well-being. Dr. A currently uses her wide range of expertise as a licensed psychologist, military/educational leader, and board-certified executive coach with both individual and organizational clients. She is contracted by both the Sheriff’s Office and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to work with their employees and provide clinical treatment, outreach, preventative, crisis and training services, respectively. She has also been invited to share her experience through media appearances on shows such as the Today’s Show All Day, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, and the Hoda & Jenna show. Dr. A is incredibly grateful to be fulfilling her lifelong dream of helping others live their best lives each day.
