I am an EMDR Trained Licensed Professional Counselor Associate currently working in private practice. I have 20 years of experience in this field but spent much of my career in public schools. I am an athlete, a parent, an educator, and most importantly....a humble learner. I bring authenticity to my practice. My training is based on the most current research in neuroscience and mindfulness My focus is currently on helping clients with sports performance, mindset, and body image I work with teens to build emotional awareness, establish identity, build healthy relationships, and strengthen self confidence People come to therapy when they are experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, trauma, relationship challenges, and other difficulties. I use specific brain based techniques to help my clients heal from their past and build a preferred future An authentic connection is extremely important in a therapeutic relationship.
