Introduction

Alix is the owner and Counselor at Healing Pathways. She is compassionate and genuinely wants to see her clients thrive. She is specially trained in EMDR and Brainspotting therapy. The previous are utilized to help individuals who have experienced trauma to re-process and heal. Traumas can include but are not limited to a sudden/unexpected loss, witnessing or experiencing a life threatening situation, bullying, attachment based-trauma and Divorce. She also has experience and Evidenced Based Training in supporting individuals experiencing grief, depression, and anxiety. In her time outside of the office, she leads a workshop for children through Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation focused on building resiliency. Alix understands the challenges of balancing being a parent, spouse and a career and supports others doing the same in learning how to take care of themselves. She enjoys time with her family, outdoor walks, golfing, playing with her dogs, and reading for personal growth and development. She enjoys the creative side of her career and often will include various creative outlets for expressing emotions and processing.
