Welcome! My goal is to provide a comfortable, empathetic and non-judgmental space where my clients can share their feelings and difficulties. I am available for in-person sessions or telehealth for anyone in the state of North Carolina. Together, we will establish goals that work toward improving your mental health and reducing distressing symptoms you may be experiencing. I work with individuals (12 and up) and couples to help them find hope and growth in a world filled with chaos. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, adult ADHD, and traumatic brain injuries along with other diagnoses. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) along with an eclectic mix of techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. I have been trained in Exposure Response Prevention, which is an evidence based technique to help reduce anxiety, phobias, panic, and OCD symptoms. I have been trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to help reduce symptoms of PTSD and emotional responses related to trauma. As a spouse of a retired Marine I have been through many challenges. It is my passion to help others through their own unique difficulties in life. Reaching out for help is a courageous first step! I look forward to meeting you.
