My name is Alissa DeCoteau and I have been providing behavioral health therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults and families for over a decade. I specialize in providing the tools, guidance and support needed to assist with improving communication skills, increasing confidence levels, building resiliency, learning healthy coping skills, improving relationships, strengthening connections, attachments and more. My mission is to assist individuals and families with improving their overall quality of life by addressing concerns related, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, behavioral struggles, parent/child conflict, grief/loss, school problems, peer problems and more. I utilize a variety of treatment approaches as a means of meeting the needs of each unique situation. I believe in a strength's perspective and the value of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship. As part of the therapeutic process, clients will experience a nonjudgemental environment where they will be treated with dignity and respect. A therapeutic playroom is on site in an effort to better meet the needs of children in the therapy process.
