My name is Alison Hunter. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping couples, families, and individuals cultivate healthier relationships, improve communication, and deepen emotional connections. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can work toward your personal goals, whether that’s improving intimacy in your relationship, navigating the challenges of parenting, or exploring your individual emotional growth. My work focuses on helping couples and families develop the tools to thrive together, including improving communication, fostering emotional connection, and building intimacy. I also support parents in parenting. Credentials & Specializations I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University and my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chaminade University. In addition to my academic background, I hold certifications in: Relational Life Therapy Practitioner Developmental Model of Couples Therapy Prepare-Enrich Premarital Counseling Assessment Prepare-Enrich Parenting Assessment Journey Clinical Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Clinician Master Facilitator Equus Coach with the Koelle Institute (now Center for Equus Coaching) Currently, I am working toward certification as an AASECT-recognized sex therapist to provide more specialized support in the area of sexual health and intimacy. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy I am also proud to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in partnership with Journey Clinical, providing a powerful therapeutic option for clients who may benefit from this innovative treatment. Ketamine-assisted therapy can support deep emotional work and help individuals address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
