Alicia Huchingson, MS, LPC-S, LMFT-S has been providing individual counseling and marriage and family therapy for almost 20 years. Her goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where individuals and couples can feel understood, learn new skills, and achieve their goals. Counseling sessions will focus on identifying your challenges and reinforcing strengths and new strategies to help you reach your goals. The focus is to help you feel more joy and happiness in your life and in your relationships and to help you learn new strategies for addressing and resolving the difficult areas that brought you in. Alicia is trained in several therapy modalities and approaches to be able to specialize care for each individual or couple and the different topics that may need to be addressed. She has helped many clients to overcome their depression, anxiety, marriage and relationship concerns, life changes, grief and loss, and much more. While affairs or infidelity or other challenges may seem overwhelming in the moment, she will walk beside you to help you process your emotions and to try to get to a place of joy and thriving. She works with clients to get them to a place of satisfaction and growth. Life can always get better, and one of her greatest joys is in helping people feel confident in themselves and achieving their goals. Alicia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is also licensed as an LPC Supervisor and an LMFT Supervisor. _________________________________________________________________ Types of Services Offered • Individual Counseling- for those wanting one on one help with various life challenges or diagnoses in a confidential and professional setting. • Couples Counseling- for married or dating individuals looking to address specific concerns and challenges in their relationship or who are questioning their marriage or struggling with infidelity or other concerns. To strengthen their relationship and increase their connection and positive, loving interactions. • Family Therapy- for 2 or more members of the family (or extended family) to address specific concerns of one or more family members. The focus may be to help with a particular family member or with the system as a whole. • Supervision- for LMFT Associates or LPC Associates seeking full licensure in Texas. This is to aid in meeting the state requirements as well as in improving and ensuring the Associates' therapeutic and professional skills, ethical standards, and their ability to provide effective treatment for current and future clients.
