Introduction

Alicia Day is the owner of Waves of Change Counseling and Healing. Alicia is a licensed professional counselor and clinical supervisor with 8 years of mental health experience working with populations including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Alicia received her Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. Alicia has worked in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric, partial and intensive psychiatric, school based clinical outpatient, intensive in home/community and outpatient programs. Alicia finds importance with developing a strong therapeutic relationship and pulling out other’s strengths and resources to be able to reach identified goals and overcome their most difficult challenges. Alicia originated as a solo practitioner, shortly after recognizing a greater need for client care and adding talented clinicians to join her team. Currently, Ashlyn Rost, MA, LPC, Karen Helmes, MS, LPC, ACS and Julia Curtis, MA, LAC are also available for requests. As a group, we are committed to carrying out our mission to provide treatment and integrate holistic wellness, genuinely and compassionately, to promote growth and ensuring that each individual reach their highest potential.
