Introduction

Dr. Alicea Evans is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist specializing in comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and therapeutic services across the lifespan. With advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning differences, and related neurodevelopmental conditions, she provides individualized, evidence-based care that fosters insight, clarity, and meaningful growth. Dr. Evans has extensive experience conducting diagnostic evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults, including those with complex presentations involving executive functioning challenges, emotional-behavioral concerns, and co-occurring substance use. Her assessments are thorough, collaborative, and designed to empower clients and families with practical recommendations and a deeper understanding of individual strengths and needs. In addition to her assessment work, Dr. Evans provides individual therapy rooted in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). She works with clients across developmental stages, helping them navigate anxiety, mood disorders, identity development, emotion regulation, and life transitions. Her clinical interests include the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders, cognitive and learning differences, and the relationship between psychological functioning and life context. She is especially skilled in working with individuals with histories of substance use and complex clinical presentations. Dr. Evans brings experience from a range of settings including community mental health, hospitals, and academic training environments. She is passionate about bridging neuroscience and psychotherapy to support long-term, transformative outcomes. Dr. Evans is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) as well as a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS).
