My focus is on helping clients adjust to life changes, integrating pain and trauma and managing stressors. Everyone handles life experiences and situations different and we often aren't prepared to effectively handle the emotional consequences. Whether your pain has been the result of adverse experiences over a lengthy period of time or a more recent experience you deserve to take the time and explore what counseling has to offer you. I use a collaborative approach to therapy with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also have an extensive experience working with teenagers and college students struggling with anxiety and depression.
