Alexis and her team of therapists care deeply about working with clients who have anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and/or trauma. Her teams approach to therapy is integrated and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Theoretically, her team uses attachment theory, mindfulness, client centered, and behavioral therapies (CBT, ACT, and DBT) to help clients find peace and reach their goals. Alexis received her master’s in clinical social work from Florida State University in 2015. She is a licensed clinical social worker and qualified supervisor in the state of Florida. Alexis has also furthered her education by receiving special training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and the Gottman Method couples therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about health, meditation, and the mind-body connection. She also enjoys working out and spending time with her family.
