Hi! My name is Alexis Mathias, LCSW, and I specialize in helping children and adults through challenges associated with mood disorders and family/partner relationships. I currently provide telehealth services in the state of California only, and have both insurance and private pay options. My style of care is meeting you where you are at, collaborating on a plan to address your needs, and supporting your active efforts in radical change to enhance your life. We will walk on your journey together in a non-judgemental and affirming space where you will have autonomy over your life. I do this through various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, family systems, motivational interviewing, and solutions focused brief therapies. My experience includes working with children, youth, adults, and families that face challenges associated with mental health, parenting, behavior, education, self-management, and the justice system. I have been able to work with these populations in settings such as schools, home-based, and state operated residential facilities. Additionally, I have helped them through counseling, therapy, case management, and psychoeducation.
