Introduction

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) that practices from a psychodynamic lens and often utilizes other theoretical approaches to facilitate and support the growth each client seeks. Therapy is not one size fits all. I work diligently to serve my clients from a holistic approach that respects what their individual needs may be and to develop the tools that best work for them in their therapeutic and healing journey. I completed my graduate degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work, and have further gained certification and training from the Ackerman Institute for the Family and NYU in Trauma Informed Practices. I have experience working with all ages and most general mental health conditions. My focus and passion lies in working with adolescents and adults, often navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and stress management stemming from relationships and the transitions that we all face in life. I additionally work with those battling substance misuse/abuse, disordered eating/eating disorders, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. We live in a generation ruled by comparison, social media, and the need to achieve more than we did the day before. My goal as a therapist, and in creating Resilience Therapy Group, is to assist my clients in working through the exaggeratedly high expectations and standards they often set for themselves, and that are reinforced by society, towards increased acceptance and confidence. Our ability as humans to be resilient is our ability to bounce back and not be taken down by life’s difficulties and obstacles. Everyone’s strengths and weaknesses vary, but the ability to have strength and determination is something all deserve and something I strive to foster in my work and philosophy. *Active Member of : NASW, IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals), HRC, the Marion and Aaron Gural MHAT Taskforce* Resilience Therapy LCSW PLLC
