Introduction

My name is Alexis Dixon, and I am the owner and therapist at Serenity Springs Counseling. My goal through my work is to partner with my clients to help them work towards their goals of mental and physical wellbeing. Whether that be through healing from trauma, learning to manage day-to-day stress, learning coping skills, or healing from anxiety, depression, or other mental health diagnoses. I want to walk with you as a partner on your journey. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, and tailor those techniques to each individual client and their needs. I am trained and certified in the following modalities - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Nutrition and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health, and am a Run Walk Talk® certified provider. I also use a variety of other therapeutic modalities, including: CBT, Person-Centered, Internal Family Systems, and Emotional Brain Training.
