Introduction

ABOUT MY SERVICES -New to Austin- As an Austin Transplant myself, I know that moving to a new city can be an exciting yet overwhelming experience. I specialize in working with individuals who are adjusting to life in Austin. I am committed to providing personalized care to help you navigate this transition and make Austin feel like home. -Loved Ones of LGBTQ+ Folks- I understand that supporting a loved one who is LGBTQ+ can come with its own unique challenges and emotions. I specialize in working with individuals in this position to provide a safe and supportive space to process your experiences and feelings. I am committed to providing non-judgmental, compassionate care to help you and your loved ones navigate this journey together. -Couple's Counseling- I am trained in the Gottman method and use that approach for couples struggling with how to manage communication and conflict within their relationship. What you will walk away with is a better understanding of your relationship with data-based results from your Gottman Relationship Checkup, and skills to address your challenges. You’ll learn how to address those challenges in proven effective ways. -Self-Paced Premarital Counseling Program- If you’re looking for an affordable, self-paced program that will provide you with insights into your relationship, resources for talking through the more difficult conversations, and the Twogether in Texas benefits, this program is for you. *Email or call to purchase.* ABOUT ME All of my work is LGBTQ+ affirming. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of California, Santa Barbara, then after a career in marketing and events, returned to school and earned a Master’s of Science in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach. I now live with my husband and two young children in Austin. In my free time, I love to bake lots of sweet things and enjoy as much outdoor exercise as the Central Texas weather will allow. I am supervised by Sarah Arnold, LPC-Supervisor.
