Alex Magre has his master’s degree in social work from the University of Utah. He graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. For the past several years, Alex has worked with adults in inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities struggling with substance use disorder and other mental health conditions. In addition, he has worked with individuals who struggle with: bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, and depression. In these previous roles, he facilitated group therapies, performed assessments, and engaged in case management. Alex enjoys working with individuals of all ages and working with individuals, couples, and families. Alex offers services in French. Alex knows that change is possible and helps individuals find this hope within themselves. Using a person-centered approach, he strives to understand the client’s experiences and perspectives. Alex believes that the client-therapist relationship is an important partnership in helping individuals change. Alex enjoys playing sports, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
