My aim is to create a safe space for college students, adults, and Latinx individuals who are struggling with life stress, imposter syndrome, depression, anxiety, or trauma. Additionally, I am deeply passionate about providing services for refugees, immigrants, and first-generation college students. My hope is to build a therapeutic relationship that will help my clients throughout treatment and foster continued trust, openness, and empathy with them. My training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) will primarily guide my treatment plans, but I may also incorporate mindfulness techniques. Through mindfulness clients can improve self-awareness in their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Connecting and addressing thoughts, behaviors, and emotions and getting them to a desired place is my goal with clients. I provide support, understanding, and acceptance in our therapy sessions. I believe people are more resilient and stronger than they think. If you feel led to explore more, I’d love to provide a 15-min consultation to determine if I’m the best person to start your journey with. You may contact me through phone or email. I’m also fluent in Spanish and English.
