I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University in 2014. I've worked in many different settings with individuals of all ages and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, addictions of all kinds, relationships and more. I use a variety of therapeutic interventions such as CBT, person-centered and motivational interviewing in my sessions. I assist my client’s in gaining a sense of awareness of the connections between their emotions, thoughts, physical experiences and behaviors and how to utilize appropriate coping skills when necessary. I truly believe as a therapist, it's very important to be open-minded and non-judgmental when working with clients as well as to build a safe therapeutic rapport. Life is completely unpredictable, so it is important for someone to have a safe and supportive space to come, feel heard and seen! Please contact me to set up your first appointment!
