Introduction

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving residents of New York and Connecticut. I help Gen Xers, Millenials, and GenZers who feel deeply and think hard, and who are often overwhelmed by emotions or stuck in patterns that don’t reflect who they want to be. They may identify as highly sensitive, carry unresolved trauma, or feel caught in painful dynamics with partners or family. My ideal clients are not seeking quick fixes. They want to understand the why beneath their struggles and create grounded, lasting change in how they feel, relate, and live. I work from a psychodynamic and attachment-based lens, as well as blend evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT, to help individuals, couples, and families explore emotional roots and shift long-held patterns. It's therapy that's flexible, real, and designed for change. You don’t have to carry this alone. Therapy with me offers space to feel deeply, understand yourself fully, and grow into the version of you that feels whole and real. If you're ready to heal from the inside out and create lasting change in your life and relationships, I invite you to reach out or schedule a free phone consultation here: https://calendly.com/alexah-auralistherapy/30min
