Introduction

You’ve struggled with the belief for as long as you can remember that no matter what you do it won’t be good enough. You know the answer to a simple question, but double check anyway because you don’t trust in yourself enough to give the right answer. Tasks that other people seem to do easily cause you to panic, which only reinforces the belief that you are inadequate. I want to help you get out of your own head so you can break free from these patterns that feel so binding. I believe that as children, we may endure or witness unhealthy dynamics within our family that as adults we must address and challenge. We carry many of these beliefs into our adult relationships and occupation, and it is important to unlearn what no longer serves us, so we can experience healthier connections, and a secure sense of self. When we have our guard up in relationships, it can be protective, but it can also get in the way of what we truly need to heal: comfort and ease in vulnerability, intimacy, and deep connection with ourselves and others. I know you want to feel connected, understood, empowered and in control of your life. This all starts with learning how to calm that voice inside that secretly hopes you fail. I can help you access your fears so you can feel more free and live authentically. As a recovering people pleaser, I can relate to the struggles of needing to feel perfect, "good enough," and acting in a certain way just to feel liked by others. By learning the skills to regulate and calm your own emotions, you can slow down when reacting and responding to others. I will work with you at your own pace. This means we do not have to dive right into what may feel uncomfortable to share. Let's first build trust and ease into the process. If you are interested in working together, I encourage you to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you!
