Introduction

I love to help people figure out who they are, what they want most out of life, and how to take active steps forward. And I recognize the obstacles, both in society and in the mind. There's a lot of growth to do, a lot of changes to make, and a lot to heal from. As a trauma-informed Queer Counselor I specialize in LGBTQ+ issues, gender identity, consensual nonmonogamy, and sex-positive lifestyles. In session, I take a holistic, affirmative, and psychoeducational approach to help clients accept their truth and empower their values. Pioneering Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for sexual and gender minorities, my books include ACT for Gender Identity: The Comprehensive Guide and Accepting Gender: A Workbook for Trans and Nonbinary People. For clients seeking a creative and expressive modality, I am currently earning my certification in Sandplay Therapy.
