Introduction

Originally from Orange County, CA, I studied biology at Stanford University, and attended medical school at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth before moving to NYC where I completed residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. There, I started a “Building Self-Esteem” group in the outpatient psychiatry clinic and completed a research study examining body image, self-esteem, and app use among sexual minority men. I tend to combine psychotherapy with psychopharmacology to achieve optimal results, employing techniques from CBT, psychodynamic, and brief relational frameworks. You'll find I use a casual conversation style, often leaning into my identity as a gay man to promote a safe space for LGBTQ clients. In my spare time I love to sing and am a member of the NYC Gay Men’s Chorus and its a cappella group, TONEWALL.
