Aleesha Gosal is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Arizona. Originally from Canada, Aleesha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. Throughout her professional career, Aleesha has worked in social work, medical, and behavioral health settings. Aleesha has served a diverse population(s) across the life span including those individuals living with Autism, ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, Impulsive Behaviors, Social/Emotional Struggles, Life Transitions, Relationship/Peer Struggles, and or Parenting/Family Dynamics or Disruptions. Aleesha’s experience in these challenging contexts has honed in on her ability to provide compassionate and effective support to individuals in complex circumstances. Aleesha is very passionate about working with children between 2-12 years of age. Her continued training and supervision in play therapy and expressive arts therapy enable her to engage young clients in a therapeutic process exploring self-expression, autonomy, emotional processing and the development of age-appropriate coping skills. Through a collaborative and strengths-based approach, Aleesha empowers children and families to navigate challenges and build resilience. She understands the importance of involving parents in the therapeutic process and offers guidance and support to help support a nurturing home environment. Outside of her practice, Aleesha remains committed to professional development engaging in continuing education, workshops, and research.
