Introduction

Not accepting new clients. I will update this with open times when they become available. I’m a licensed mental health counselor because I believe that emotional health and well-being deserve more attention than they receive. We learn how important it is to develop skills in so many areas of our lives, yet few people teach us how to improve the way we experience life. My goal is to provide you with techniques to improve the quality of your experience. I integrate evidence-based interventions and genuine compassion to provide an accepting and validating environment that facilitates lasting treatment outcomes and personal growth. I use my extensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help you gain the tools you need to become your own therapist, at your own pace. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy. I take a fast-paced, action-oriented approach if you are ready and know what you need. If you are unsure about what you need, I like to slow down and thoroughly assess the problem. Wherever you are in terms of your readiness for change, I will work with you to develop a shared understanding, and together we will create a roadmap to reduce your distress and increase your overall well-being.
