I am passionate about helping individuals and families improve their relationships, whether in an intimate partner setting or with family members. Change can often be difficult and uncomfortable, but I strive to provide a safe space for you to discuss your challenges and goals. My aim is to help you explore ways to navigate and implement changes more effectively, while introducing tools to improve communication and manage conflict. Having navigated complex relationships and experienced personal growth through therapy, I understand the importance of having a supportive and non-judgmental space to work through challenges. My own journey, with family members that have battled addiction, who are members of LGBTQIA+, being a daughter of divorced parents and working with incarcerated individuals, has fueled my commitment to helping others find their way to healthier and more fulfilling relationships. As an LMFT, I understand that couples intensive therapy sessions can be ideal for those who want to address urgent challenges within their relationships. High conflict, negative cycles, limited time, and varying schedules can make it difficult to improve circumstances on your own. I use effective analogies to help clients view problems from different perspectives, building empathy, understanding, and creating strong, lasting bonds. My client-centered approach is complemented by my completion of Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I integrate the Gottman Method Couples Therapy to assess and evaluate where positive changes can be made. This evidence-based approach provides a thorough understanding of your relationship dynamics, identifying strengths and areas for growth. With this accelerated approach, we can customize treatment to fit your unique needs, giving you back valuable time to focus on implementing skills and tools aimed at improving your relationship. During these intensive sessions, we delve deep into the issues at hand, utilizing effective communication techniques, problem-solving strategies, and conflict resolution skills. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where both partners can express their thoughts and feelings openly, fostering empathy and understanding. By participating in intensive therapy, you can experience meaningful progress in a shorter amount of time, helping you break free from negative patterns and rebuild a strong, lasting bond. Whether you're facing a crisis or looking to enhance your connection, intensive therapy offers the opportunity to make significant and lasting improvements in your relationship. If you're ready to take the next step, please reach out so we can discuss how I can help in your unique situation.
