Introduction

Are you feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed? Maybe you are struggling to enjoy life or feel like you are surviving instead of thriving. I'm here to meet you where you are right now. I believe in a collaborative approach where we will work together to discover your goals and help you feel empowered to work toward them. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience, I often use evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), but always tailor counseling to your unique needs. A few of my specialties are anxiety, depression, and stress from everyday life or major transitions. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas. I continue to read and attend workshops and love being able to share new tools and resources with my clients. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy gardening, finding a great series to watch, and spending time with family. As a wife and mother to three young children (including twins), I "get it". I love my work and helping people in all walks of life and have a special interest in supporting folks in major transitions including transitions to adulthood, parenthood, and infertility. I am personally Christian, but enjoy working with clients of all religious and spiritual backgrounds. Your spirituality is only incorporated to the extent that you choose.
