I have worked in the counseling field for over 10 years now and continue to learn from every client I come in contact with. I see the therapeutic relationship as one that is unique, safe, and transformative. What I hope to pass on to clients is an environment where they feel comfortable enough to be where their "feet are" while also learning to better manage, and accept, the things that are uncomfortable in this life. I have a degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as an Addictions Counselor, work in integrated care settings (with primary care doctors/OBGYNs), am certified in Problem Solving Therapy, and have been exposed to a diverse set of clients with diverse challenges. I pride myself in true active listening, remembering the details, and tailor making my approach to fit your needs.
