Introduction

I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, family and couples’ issues, behavioral & anger management, mindfulness, biofeedback, men’s issues, addictions, relationship, career, culture & immigration, smoking cessation, loss and grief, and disability assessment. I have many years of experience as a therapist in numerous inpatient, outpatient settings, veteran administration hospital, and integrated care. Additionally, I have been a professional engineer for two decades. Equipped with a diverse background, I can help you work through career issues and deal with stress at work or in complex problems faced in daily life. I also run groups for behavioral addiction, addiction, men’s issues, divorce, career, behavioral management, trauma, anger management, sexual addiction, loss and grief, mindfulness, and others as demand arises. In therapy, I will help motivate, empower, foster inner strength, work through core issues, help gain needed insights, and make behavioral changes, collaboratively, cultivating success. The collaborative work is geared towards fulfillment of personal and professional goals fostering hope and direction from the get-go. In therapy we work to integrate healing components such as relationship, inter- and intra-personal forgiveness, assertiveness and boundary work. Methods such as cognitive therapy and experiential therapies will guide to be respectful and compassionate towards issues. I also respect your spiritual orientation or personal belief systems that you may have to foster healing and meaningful change to emerge. Another way of working with our problems is to find greater balance and satisfaction in daily concerns or challenges. One way to find the balance and satisfaction is to rediscover "Real Self" and help lower "critique based", "fear based" voices within. I use creative, compassionate, and respectful approaches, yet use strength-based dialog when needed to address an issue. I can assist you to overcome challenges and guide you to a lasting solution to your concerns benefiting yourself and others around you. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
