“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.” - Bessel Van Der Kolk, The Body Keeps the Score If you are looking for somewhere to begin your healing journey, my hope is that my practice can be the safe place for you to start. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Approved Supervisor in the state of Texas, specializing in PTSD and trauma-recovery. I am EMDR-certified and also trained in several other evidence-based treatments for PTSD, including Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I am passionate about helping people heal from all kinds of trauma, and I have experience working with combat veterans and male and female survivors of sexual trauma, as well as adult survivors of childhood abuse. If you think I might be a good fit for you, please reach out to me by email to schedule a free 15-minute telephone consultation.
